Researcher’s Night during the last 10 years aims to promote research in Europe. The events offer a wide variety of fun-learning activities, from behind-the-scenes guided tours of research labs that are normally closed to the public, through interactive science shows, to hands-on experiments or workshops. Researcher’s Night 2015 will be held in 8 Greek cities: Athens, Thessaloniki, Patras, Heraklion, Trikala, Corinth, Rhodes and Pylos.
In Researcher’s Night 2015 – Thessaloniki, visitors will have the opportunity to witness numerous technological advances which will be presented by researchers in an interactive and understandable way through scientific experiments, artistic events, debates and research games for all ages. CERTH will also be coordinating a series of activities, such as the “Street Value of Science”, an original musical-scientific ritual during which current research topics will be presented in a simple and attractive way, while listening to music in a gig by CERTH’s Thanasis Konstantopoulos and “Nick Dounousis and the Backbone” blues rock group.
