And how exciting to watch the race of your own car, with a prize trip to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates?
An impressive educational program that fosters the competitive stimulus to the satisfaction of cooperation and the joy of creation, this year offers Ellinogermaniki Agogi in a partnership with the Association of Greek Physicists, Electrical Department, National Technical University and the company SETApps.
On Thursday, June 14, 2012 Games F1 will take place, with models built by the pupils themselves. This is the final of the National Student Technology Competition “The Formula 1 in Schools» (F1 in Schools).
The competition will take place at the premises of the School: Ellinogermaniki Agogi in Pallini, involving 12 teams of students from Greece and Cyprus.
In fact, for the realization of these games, the original F1 track with two lanes will be transferred to Greece to allow two cars to compete simultaneously.
The winning teams will represent Greece and Cyprus in the finals of the World Championship «F1 in Schools», in Abu Dhabi on 29, 30 and October 31, 2012.
It is an international non-profit initiative supported by the Ministries of Education in many countries such as England, Ireland, Spain, France, Germany, Australia, Malaysia, etc.
F1 in Schools 2012 is rapidly realizing its potential of becoming the only truly global educational programme that raises awareness of Formula One among students and school children in every region, in every country, on every continent.
34 countries…. 12 million students…. 1 experience of a lifetime!
